For a long, long time Mac users have laughed at their fellow PC users whose computers fall victim to the infamous “blue-screen of death.” Well, now the Mac has become the target of this fiendish malfunction. Within only 30 minutes of Dan Baxter running Windows on his Intel iMac using Boot Camp, a blue screen of death appeared, caused by Baxter trying to view his connected USB devices. That is so Windows. But all in all, this really does re-enforce the point that anyone running Windows on their Mac must be completely insane.

I agree, the bluescreen is "so Windows," but people trying to run Windows on their Macs are not crazy. I believe OSX is the best os and can do everything WinXp can better, except one major area; games. While PC games are losing popularity to console games, many people, including me, want to play great games like Half-life 2 with a keyboard, mouse, and high def monitor. While developers could develop more games for Mac, they don't because Micro$oft has basicly created a monopoly. Now, it would be a lot nicer to run windows through a visualizer, but visualized Windows is slooow. So this lets people like me who love the mac os, boot into Windoze only when necessary to play games.
That's my two cents.
How I agree...
I once read something like.. "ok, we can install windows on macs.. so what"... and that is exactly the point... now what? Nothing... Please people: wake up!
I began iMac shopping last Fall, looking at the G5, then when the Intel iMac came out in January 2006, I bought one -1st Mac ever. I noticed then that the graphics card on the Spec sheet was a step up from what they offered on the G5.
I now believe that the Intel chip, Graphics card and all were in anticipation of yesterday's move with boot camp. This has probably been planned for some time. Gamers need the graphics for their Windows games.
