It wasn’t so long ago I was whining writing about the fact that Boot Camp didn’t support the Mac Pro. Apple heard my pleas (I’m not above acting self-important) and released Boot Camp 1.1 with Mac Pro support. Also new:
Wait. Look at the third bullet. Ability to install Windows XP on any internal disk. That means you can buy a cheap SATA drive, throw it into your Mac Pro, and completely avoid contaminating your Mac’s Mac OS X boot drive with the virus known as Windows (it’s a joke, calm down).
Now if only someone can confirm XP Home runs on Mac Pros (through personal experience, as thus far people have told me both ways), I’ll buy XP Home and a SATA drive for it. Then, I’ll overload on games.

LOL, great to know I am not the only one who considers windows a virus.. ;)
Although I do wonder if it would run off of an external drive hooked up to my mini.
OK, we already know that when it comes to notebooks that the new Boot Camp software still doesn't allow Windows to be booted from an external Firewire drive. However, does that apply to an external SATA drive connected with an SATA ExpressCard adaptor? Just a thought...
"if only someone can confirm XP Home runs on Mac Pros"
My understanding is that the Home Edition does not take advantage of multiple processors.
