SlingCatcher delayed until Fall

This morning, Dan’s Cheerios are getting showered with his tears because he’s finding out that the SlingCatcher he’s been eyeing won’t be available this summer as originally promised. Interested customers will have to squirrel that money away until the leaves fall from the trees. A quick recap: the SlingCatcher will let you watch your Slingbox or your computer’s display remotely.
According to Engadget, Sling says their original estimate was “aggressive”. Based on some conversations I’ve had with non-techy friends of mine, the Slingbox is probably the worst market tech product I know of. Once I describe what it does, people are asking me to double check the name. You owe it to the traveler in your life to let them know about it.
