If you were interested to see the episode of MacBreak in which I haltingly stumble my way through a discussion of the iPhone, it’s now online. I’m hardly my own cogent self, which I’ll attempt to blame on a sleep debt roughly equivalent to the amount of money owed by Britain to the US after WWII.
The segment with me is the first in the video, and I’m featured alongside such luminaries as Louisa, the lady who gives massages on the show floor, and some guy from Microsoft.
As to my suggestion that I’d like to see VoIP capability on the iPhone, one blogger has already pointed out that Cingular would probably not be in favor of that. I hate the idea that Cingular might prevent the iPhone from reaching its full potential—and I’d think that Steve Jobs would as well. I’d be surprised not to see VoIP appear on the iPhone at some point, though.
Anyway, seeing as how Merlin turned me into a blithering idiot by pointing a video camera at me, I decided that turnabout was fair play. Now, we’re even.
MacUser is your source for news, info, and opinion about Apple, the Mac, and the iPod. Our dedicated team of bloggers covers everything that is relevant to Mac users — and, okay, some stuff that’s not quite relevant, but is still a lot of fun.
Hey, I think you're being way too hard on yourself (or maybe you're just joking with your usual dry wit?). There's humble, there's self-deprecating and a long way further down the track, round the block and over the other side there's "blithering idiot". If that last one is your goal, you have a loooong way to go. :)
