Twitterific 2.1 beta adds Applescript and Growl support

It’s no secret that we here at MacUser are big fans of the Iconfactory’s Mac Twitter app, Twitterific, but today brings yet another reason to laud this fabulous application.
The new Twitterific 2.1 beta (available for download here) adds lots of long-awaited features, including Applescript support, the ability to use the Growl notification system, and support for multiple Twitter accounts. In addition, Twitterific 2.1 has a cleaner preferences, the ability to drag tweets into other applications to form links to them, and NetNewsWire posting support.
Overall, the Twitterific 2.1 beta looks really nice and is another great improvement to Twitterific.
