Can’t wait for Leopard? Here’s your consolation prize: iLife Support 8.1.1 and iDVD 6.0.4 (OK, OK, so no one cares). Oh, and if you have a white 24-inch iMac and like Boot Camp, there’s also the exotically-named iMac MXM Update 1.0.
On the living side of things, the iLife update…
…supports system software components shared by all iLife ‘08 applications, improves overall stability, addresses a number of other minor issues, and supports general compatibility issues. It is recommended for all users of iLife ‘08.
As for iDVD, version 6.0.4 apparently only makes it compatible with Leopard apart from improving “overall stability”.
Finally, the iMac MXM thingy is actually some kind of firmware update only necessary for certain 24-inch iMacs (the previous all-white generation) that don’t play nice with Boot Camp in Leopard. Enjoy!
