Rejoice, open source aficionados, for your email client has arrived. Thunderbird 1.5.0.4 sports the yin-yang of Universal Binary. I’m still an Apple Mail user myself, but I’ve taken to using Thunderbird for some of my mail accounts, as I’ve been less-than-impressed with Mail’s support for multiple accounts.
There are also some bug fixes and security updates in the new version, which you can read about in the release notes. Firefox 1.5.0.4 has been released as well, also with security fixes.
Now if only they boasted integrated Growl support.
MacUser is your source for news, info, and opinion about Apple, the Mac, and the iPod. Our dedicated team of bloggers covers everything that is relevant to Mac users — and, okay, some stuff that’s not quite relevant, but is still a lot of fun.
