We don’t tell you about every minor software update that comes down the pipe, but lately, I’ve had to go to town updating software. I use all these apps, so maybe you’ll find a diamond in the rough in them that you’ve been looking for.
[RBrowser] was updated to 4.3.9 to fix several bugs. I use Panic’s Transmit more these days, but RBrowser always served me well when it came to FTP and SFTP file transfer.
TextExpander is an app that I simply can’t live without. When I need to use computers without this, I feel lost. If you type any text repetitively, this software is an absolute life saver. Version 1.4.2 fixes an issue to the use of additional snippets.
SubEthaEdit is a real gem. The Mac platform is flooded with excellent choices for text editing. The collaboration feature built-in is amazing and useful. Version 2.6.1 fixes a long list of problems.
MacFUSE is still in its development infancy, but its ability to let you see data as filesystems is very, very cool. Version 0.2.2 is one step closer to a package safe for consumer consumption.
TextMate is still the new hotness for Mac text editing. I still don’t feel like I’m using it properly. Version 1.5.5 includes various bugfixes.

MacUser is your source for news, info, and opinion about Apple, the Mac, and the iPod. Our dedicated team of bloggers covers everything that is relevant to Mac users — and, okay, some stuff that’s not quite relevant, but is still a lot of fun.
Did you mention Smultron from last December or the recent Soho Organizer updates? I don't like Yojimbo, or any Bare Bones software, but I like Soho.
