Code Sorcery has released an update to Pukka, the popular lightweight del.icio.us posting client. In addition to obvious performance and bug fixes, Pukka 1.5 also adds some features including auto-quit, changing the tag suggestion delay, and configuring the dock icon to bounce after posting.
But Pukka 1.5 also includes an important new feature — setting a custom API. Basically, this means that in addition to posting to del.icio.us with its API, Pukka can now post to other social bookmarking services that use an API that mirrors that of del.icio.us, such as Ma.gnolia.
It’s great that Pukka now supports other social bookmarking services, but it still lacks the ability to post to multiple services at once.
