When OS X first came out, the number of utilities out there was rather low. PTH Consulting offered very early on a variety of terrific array of free utilities (most of which reserved a spot in the menu bar). Unfortunately, a number of those utilities got sold to a development company.
One of the survivors was PTHPastebord, a multiple clipboard manager. For some reason, I’m a sucker for those utilities. The 4.0 beta still a bit buggy, but for free, it’s really good. The Pro version has some great features like syncing and advanced text filtering that I haven’t seen elsewhere. It’s definitely worth keeping an eye on.
