I can't tell you what a Godsend this is for us Final Cut users. FCP 6.0.2 introduced a bug that made project files specific to the computer they were created on (it's more complicated than that but that's it in a nutshell). This is a huge pain for those of us have 3 or 4 edit bays in our Final Cut Pro environment, and we want to go over to the audio mixing edit bay where the best speakers are etc...
Well this update does indeed fix that, I installed the update on all my computers and tested it. It does indeed fix it just like the release notes say.
I'm so happy about it I just had to comment when I saw the article. :)
Wow, I didn't realize Shakers were Mac users. Makes sense though, "'Tis a gift to be simple" certainly applies to Apple.
