Riccardo Ettore has been a long time Mac developer and one of his products, TypeIt4Me ($27, $19.95 at the booth) was originally an OS 9 product. He’s updated it to version 3.1, adding several features. The feature that really stands out to me is the ability to trigger AppleScripts using abbreviations. That could be a real time saver (is that Merlin Mann’s ears picking up?).
He’s also releasing Sounds4Fun OS X Edition ($9.95 at the booth), a very cool little app that will tie sounds to different system events. He already has competition in Xounds. I’ve outgrown it for the most part, but I have nostalgia for a time when I used SoundMaster.
