updates.jpgWe know how you feel about minor updates from Apple—you lo-lo-love them. That’s why we bring you the gory details of every little package that Apple puts up for download. You just can’t get en—why? Why do you make us do this? Have we hurt you in some way? If so, we are so sorry, please believe us.

Anyway. Apple released two updates yesterday that we’re just dying to tell you about: the 64.4MB Pro Applications Update 2008-03 “addresses general performance issues and improves overall stability” and includes Compressor 3.0.4 and Apple Qmaster 3.0.4. We sure people who need to master their Q’s will be glad to hear it; those minding their P’s will have to wait until a subsequent updates.

Final Cut Server 1.1.1 weighs in at 55.3MB and, surprisingly enough, is a revision to Final Cut Server 1.1; it “addresses installation issues and general performance issues and improves overall stability.” That sounds…familiar, somehow. Like a distant echo of a long dead world.

But hark! What’s this? Apple’s actually linked to detailed release notes for both the Pro Applications and FinalCut Server updates! Is this Sparta? Because this is madness. Devour at your leisure.
