David Watanabe’s instant-search plugin for Safari, Inquisitor, has reached version 3.0, and is now free for download. If you haven’t used it before, you’ll be pleased to discover it’s abilities to display search results and complete your words as you type. It also features multiple search engines with quick key commands, as well as short search summaries under each result.
Using the Google Suggest engine and Spotlight-inspired looks, Inquisitor goes a long way towards making search a friendlier and more eye-candy-coated experience (and what OS X user doesn’t love that?). Watantabe’s other creations, Acquisition, NewsFire, and Xtorrent are all shining examples of his distinctly Mac-like work.
MacUser is your source for news, info, and opinion about Apple, the Mac, and the iPod. Our dedicated team of bloggers covers everything that is relevant to Mac users — and, okay, some stuff that’s not quite relevant, but is still a lot of fun.
