Flying Meat helps you do Voodoo

Voodoo Pad 3Sweet Moses on a pogo stick: VoodooPad 3.0 is out and about. As we speak I type, it’s being downloaded in the background, just waiting for me to get it running. Annnnd…done. Version 3.0 includes a bunch of new features including: tabs (everybody loves tabs!); support for huge documents; embedding images, PDFs, MP3s, and other files; and a palette-based interface. Oh, and a whole lot more.

For those of you unfamiliar with VoodooPad, it’s a note-taking application that works a lot like a wiki (i.e., Wikipedia), in that you can create as many pages as you want, and link them together. I’ve been using the Lite version for a while to keep notes for some of my writing, but with the release of 3.0, I’m finding myself eyeing the standard release. Apps like VP make me wish I could afford to buy every piece of cool software I find.

Of course, depending on how much you’re willing to shell out, you can pick the flavor of VoodooPad that’s best for you: Lite, standard, or Pro. Confused about the difference? Check out this handy table. VoodooPad Lite is free, but lacks many of the features of its big brothers, whereas VoodooPad Pro has a built-in webserver and page-level encryption. Snazzy

I like Journler, nice interface and nicer iLife integration. And it's free.
