Oh little updates, how you make us happy. Yes, dear reader, it’s my duty yet again to inform you that two minor software updates have dropped.
First and foremost, QuickTime 7.3.1 contains a bunch of security fixes. Among the patched holes is the notable RSTP header hole, which we told you about a while ago. No need to worry ‘bout it anymore, people! And this update is for Panther, Tiger and Leopard — run Software Update to get the correct version. Oh, and if you use QuickTime Broadcaster, there’s an update for that too.
Second is everybody’s favorite music-making app, GarageBand. In version 4.1.1, sending a song to iTunes as a ringtone should work probably. Yep, that’s about it, despite the 47.8 MB file size. Enjoy your updated software, and ‘til next time!
