All-in-one website design tool Coda has been revved by its overlords at Panic, adding a bunch of new features and fixing some bugs to boot. We’ve been fans of the app since its release in April of 2007 and it’s mostly lived up to that, even picking up a coveted Apple Design Award.
Now the team’s at it again with Coda 1.5. They’ve rolled in yet another app’s worth of functionality in the form of a Subversion client and added find and replace across files, the ability to add your favorite documentation web sites to the bookshelf, improved syntax coloring across nested languages, expanded AppleScript support, and a whole host of other improvements that are just too hot for TV.
It’s been a long time since I’ve picked up a tool for web development, but I’d definitely be eyeing Coda if I were still in that world. And consider that you can currently get the whole kit (with optional caboodle) for just $99 ($89 if you already own Panic’s Transmit). For those who already shelled out for an earlier version, you’ll be happy to know that 1.5 is a free update. Because the Panic team just enjoys bringing the love.
