Camino, arguably the best browser for Mac (and this writer’s browser of choice, although I’ve yet to try the latest Firefox Beta), has received an update to 1.6.
The new features include a number of UI changes that make the browser purdier to look at, as well as improved navigating tabs. It also features a new “find” interface that’s more similar to Safari’s with an unobtrusive bar that pops up from the bottom of a screen rather than an annoying extra window. It’s got a beefed up search toolbar that lets you customize the search field, too.
So if you haven’t given Camino a try yet, now’s a good time to do it. I found it to be quicker, more stable, and overall more “Mac-like” than Firefox 1 at least.

Yeah, Camino is getting more and more mac-like, but it still is difficult to use firefox plug-ins.
wow, that's awesome update. I will give it a spin, maybe my browser of choice will change.
wow. I've been waiting, O, 3 years for Camino to be ready for prime time... and I think it finally is! (using it right now)
