I’m glad to see that Rogue Ameoba is still keeping on top of things. Today, they’ve just updated Audio Hijack Pro, a program I rely on frequently when I need to capture audio from Skype. As someone who’s used it since the early days of podcasting, I can say that it’s gotten a lot better and simpler to use. So, fellas, keep up the good work.

I have talked to so many sound software makers I'm about ready to go deaf from their inaccuracies.
Then to learn they only work on the PC platform when I am a professor and director of Electronic Media and Digital Arts for The George Washington University.
Cakewalk, SoundForge... on and on
Amion, an amazing software which I never got to play with, had this MAJOR advantage:
edit MP3 files "directly" in a waveform editor, rather than having to convert them to AIFF and re-encode.
And, now I just read Amion has closed shop
My students and school need software that can perform editing of MP3 files "directly" in a waveform editor withotu converting.
Can anyone please help?
Is there any software out there for MACs that can do this?
I don't believe itunes, quicktime or garageband can do this?
The dream software would also allow me to raise and lower volume of a mp3 file & do dj crossfading.
Please help me Obi-Wan :)
Hope to hear from anyone....
