Rockers and photographers, rejoice, for the latest GarageBand and Aperture updates are upon us.
The 19.1 MB GarageBand 4.1.2 update improves overall stability and addresses issues with the automation of software instrument parameters, FireWire and USB based audio devices and Magic GarageBand.
The heftier 43.9 MB Aperture 2.0.1 update addresses issues related to performance and overall stability and fixes a number of minor issues.
But most importantly, Aperture 2.0.1 now supports enhanced AppleScript, which combines with Mac OS X functionality to provide a higher level of interactivity with page-layout apps like Adobe InDesign CS3. This long-awaited updated allows Aperture preview images to be easily placed in to another application’s document while maintaining direct links to the related master images in the Aperture library. Woot!
