If you thought a lot of Mac applications were updated for Leopard yesterday and earlier this week, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet. A zillion updates came out today, but here are the highlights:
Let’s kick things off with a bunch of Apple Leopard compatibility updates that came out since my post yesterday: GarageBand 3.0.5, Backup 3.1.2, and Aperture 1.5.6. Those should show up in Software Update.
VMWare Fusion 1.1 is only a release candidate, but it’s supposed to work well with Leopard and also improve aspects of the Windows virtualization.
Spanning Sync 1.1, the $25/year preference pane that syncs your iCal and Google calendars together, is now 10.5-ready and sports improved privacy and security as well as better multi-Mac support.
Voice Candy 1.2, the fun voice recorder, goes one step further: it features one of those gorgeous 512 by 512 pixel icons. (Tangerine, Potion Factory’s other product, is taking longer than expected because of issues with the iTunes DRM.)
Macaroni 2.1, atomicbird’s system maintenance app, was also updated.
Overflow 1.5.3, Stunt Software’s app launcher, should now work great with Leopard and features various minor improvements.
Pukka 1.6.2 is ready to serve your del.icio.us posting needs as you browse the net to read all about the the next big cat.
Phew! Tell me what I missed in the comments.
TextMate updated itself when I started it today, though it didn't appear to be due to anything related to Leopard.
Whew, good thing Backup was updated for Leopard.
Yahoo messenger updated its beta for leopard.
Inquisitor has been updated for Leopard. Hallelujah!
