I mentioned Adium yesterday and lo and behold, we get the Adium 1.0.5 update. Some minor bugs were fixed and libpurple (formerly libgaim) was updated to 2.0.2 from 2.0.0 (including its own bug fixes). Additionally, users interested in adding more protocols can now utilize libpurple protocol plugins.
The developers have also mentioned some changes coming in Adium 1.1.
Adium 1.1, the next major release which has been in development for the past year, will drop OS X 10.3 support, targeting OS X 10.4+ so we can bring you more of the shiny.
That’ll be a disappointment for stalwarts of the Panther. However, with two thirds of Mac users currently using Tiger and Leopard coming soonish, it’s about time they start concentrating on the future to continue pushing the envelope. I want more shiny.

LOLz
nowish, soonish... what's next? :P
anyway... it bugs me the amount of applications dropping panther support.
i just bought my lilttle cousin a clamshell G3 and you can't put tiger in those things... panther runs so well it doesn't even feel like a 300mhz CPU (only used for iTunes, word, messenger). tiger is too memory/CPU hungry... i can only imgine what leopard will be like...
"i can only imgine what leopard will be like..."
RAWR!, I imagine.
You need to correct "...was updated from 2.0.2 from 2.0.0 ...". More of the shiny is indeed quite compelling :)
