Hark and well met, ye Twitter fanatics. Iconfactory has released a new version of their gorgeous client for the microblogging/voyeurism service, an app that we’ve previously lauded as “perfect.”
Twitterrific 2.1 keeps the good times rolling, adding support for multiple logins, Growl support, the ability to process tweets with AppleScript (you’ll find instructions in the Read Me), NetNewsWire 3.0 integration, and much more. And many will certainly appreciate the much clamored for option to make the window opaque, rather than translucent.
At its core, Twitterrific remains the same great app it’s always been, but it’s definitely got more flashing lights than the original version. Reflecting this, the settings panel has now been broken up into multiple tabs to make things a little clearer.
Finally, the mischievous developers have upgrade the app’s hidden Easter Egg with frickin’ laser beams (you’ll have to find it yourself; we give nothing away!). Now if only Twitter would *ahem* shore up their servers a little bit so I stop missing tweets.
MacUser is your source for news, info, and opinion about Apple, the Mac, and the iPod. Our dedicated team of bloggers covers everything that is relevant to Mac users — and, okay, some stuff that’s not quite relevant, but is still a lot of fun.

Hallelujah! Finally a post that doesn't blame Twitterrific for tweets lost to the either. Bravo I say!
