Rob Griffiths over at Macworld details how you can use some Terminal commands (two, to be precise) to get access to some hidden functionality from the Screen Sharing application in Leopard. When you’re through with this, you’ll be able to connect to the Macs on your local Bonjour network more efficiently and do things like capturing the screenshot of the shared computer, locking out their input devices or the entire screen and sending them big brother like threatening messages.
To start with, you need to visit /System/Library/CoreServices and drag the Screen Sharing application onto the Dock and then click here to follow the rest of Mr. Griffith’s instructions. But remember, with the great power of being able to control all the Macs in the neighborhood, comes great responsibility!
