Michael Mistretta, over at Appletell, has published a pretty lengthy and well written article covering a bunch of tweaks available for Apple’s latest cat. Among other things, the extensive list contains links to modifications and tweaks for the Dock, Stacks, the menu bar, icons, login window, iChat and Quick Look, many of which we’ve covered at MacUser before as well. If you’ve been following the coverage of Leopard since its release, you won’t find anything terribly new here but it’s a good resource in case something’s slipped under your radar.
For what it’s worth, we would also like to mention that many of the tips posted there are just a few clicks away in the recently updated and free system maintenance utility, Onyx. So if you’re not a fan of Apple’s default settings and want to customize every last bit of your system, feel free to click away on the links above.
Yep Onyx is pretty good
