Listen up, New York City, you guys just don’t have enough Apple Stores, okay? With a population of more than 8 million people, the existing stores in SoHo, on 5th Ave, and on Staten Island don’t cut it. Never mind that Alaska doesn’t even have its own Apple Store; you just go ahead and pick up your third store this Friday, okay?
The latest Big Apple location is set to open its doors at West 14th Street at 6PM on the 7th (which, we might note, is MacUser’s second birthday; how thoughtful, Apple!). As with most new Apple Store openings, there will be festivities to celebrate including the ever-popular free t-shirts (while supplies last) and other surprises, which likely include some Apple swag. The store will be open until midnight, meaning there’s plenty of time to get your fill of Apple-related celebrations. It’s like a festival of lights!

MacUser is your source for news, info, and opinion about Apple, the Mac, and the iPod. Our dedicated team of bloggers covers everything that is relevant to Mac users — and, okay, some stuff that’s not quite relevant, but is still a lot of fun.
Is there a way to tell if there are more Apple stores planned for Canada, and more specifically Ontario? I want another tshirt.
