Reminder: new Mac models means great deals

Deal It doesn’t matter how many times it’s said, it’s worth reminding those around you in the market for a new Mac that right after new Mac release is a great time to buy. Seeing as Apple doesn’t drop prices on a whim, a couple reasons to buy after release stand out. First, you get more Mac for your money than if you bought the day before. Second, if you buy the older models, you can get them at deep, deep discounts on Apple’s deals page. Today’s iMac selection is an 17” model.

Not to brag about it, but I got a brand new, iMac (NOT a refurb) with the same specs for only $300 (plus local sales tax, and NO shipping), thanks to the three month delay of a replacement part for 5 year old iMac.

Now I know why I got such a great deal.
