June 7th to mark the grand opening of Apple Store, Willowbrook Mall

We have some good news for our Texan readers today. On this coming Saturday, just a scant couple of days from today, Apple will host the grand opening of their brand new Apple Store in Willowbrook Mall in Houston. The new store will be the thirteenth outlet in the state of Texas.
As usual, the store will throw open its doors at 10:00 a.m. and the first thousand visitors to step inside will receive a free t-shirt each. The opening week is generally quite colorful, packed to the brim with free training events and workshops, so make yourself available if you wish to partake in any of them.
The schedule posted on Apple’s website doesn’t have any events listed as of this writing, but I expect to see those tables filled up soon. If you happen to pay a visit, let us know how it goes.
