The flagship Apple Store on Fifth Avenue has the notebooks in stock now, so don’t walk, run over to the store so you can get a feel for the eighth wonder of the world.

They have made it all the way up to the great white north and they look and feel incredible. I didn't realize until now that I needed on so badly.

We have them in Buford, GA too, and they're pretty much the sexiest machine known to mankind now that I've seen on in person.

They have display models but no actual stock at the Tokyo , Shibuya Applestore . The Air was so thin and light I was tempted to fling it Frisbee like to one of my mates

They have them at Tysons Corner in Mclean, VA. There were 3 there. One was supposed to have the SS Drive, but I could not check. It was crowded.

It is impossible to examine computers in any of Apples's NYC stores. I go to examine but people are on equipment; look around for half hour awaiting those using equipment to finish their emailing or work; walk around again for some time, and return to find the SAME people hogging the equipment. I want to perhaps buy my first Mac, but at this rate, I will probably buy from Dell again as I have for so many years. Too bad, as my dad keeps sending me Mac propaganda (he is new to Mac and loves it)and I think I want to have one. Apple store people should exercise some control on those trying equipment. Ridiculous. This has happened too often over past few months.

If you're having that much difficulty getting to see a computer up close at an Apple Store, you should consider signing up for Apple's Personal Shopping. You actually make an appointment to come in and have someone's attention for an hour - and they'll show you any machine you want in depth. No commitment to buy anything. I've used it and it's wonderful. Go to their website to make the apt. Don't give up so quickly...
