Eagle-eyed reader Walt spotted a little deal for the .Mac members in the audience. If you log into the service’s website, you’ll see a banner describing the deal. You get $30 of iLife ‘08.
.Mac members get iLife ‘08 for only $49. Hurry, offer ends February 25, 2008.

They’ll apply the discount and you can purchase iLife ‘08 right over the phone.
It’s a great deal if you were thinking about upgrading. I’m a little surprised by how the promotion is being run. There’s no online ordering. .Mac is all about the internet. The ad is on the web. And yet you actually need to pick up a phone (yeah, the funny looking, banana shaped thing).
The offer runs until February 25th which is mere days away, so hurry now.

Actually, about two weeks ago I got an e-mail from Apple regarding this promotion, including a link that automatically applied the discount when you added iLife to your shopping cart.
Regardless, still a good deal.

Is Apple a global company or what?
Maybe you have to call from an iPhone?
I don't know about eagle-eyed, I received an email about it. Of course, I had just purchased it a couple weeks earlier :(
Yup. I picked up the phone and bought a copy. It's a great deal if you ask me. iPhoto is the killer app. I like the web galleries. I just used one for my son's first birthday. People were loving the site. Oh... almost forgot... being able to contribute pics from your iPhone is pretty darn neat too.
