Black Friday isn’t really as bad as it sounds

Oh, Black Friday’s coming up, I can’t wait! Yes, I know that statement sounds a little strange, but believe me Black Friday is a good thing. It’s when, every year right before the holiday season, Apple sells products at major discounts on a single Friday. And this one happens next Friday, so get ready for some major savings. While Apple hasn’t actually released what the discounts will be this year, last year they offered $100 off certain Macs and Shure headphones, $30 off the Airport Express and iSight camera, and $5 discounts on iPod accessories. So, get your mouse and keyboard ready for the ultimate Apple savings frenzy!

Is this the same case for the UK online store as well?

Hold on there. You said major discounts, then went on to list $100 off. $100 is in no way a major discount. When I got my iMac this summer, I got a free iPod ($179 rebate actually) and even that isn't 'major'.
Knock off $500 on a $2k purchase (which would only be a 25% discount) and even that's not major, though that would be nice!
