Okay, there’re lots of different types of crazy in this world, but it’s a truly special type of crazy that sends people into a frenzy over saving a few dollars. The maddened hordes that descend upon shopping malls everywhere on the day after Thanksgiving are far more terrifying than even the most brainthirsty zombie hordes.
But should you possess this potent form of madness, you’ll be pleased to know that Apple will once again likely be offering substantial discounts on Macs, iPods, and accessories this coming Friday, November 23rd. The deals will be available to both those who brave the real world to visit an Apple Store, as well as those who merely choose to exercise their clicking finger and surf to the online Apple Store.
Apple’s being mum on exactly what kind of deals that they’re offering, other than it’s free shipping for all (and all for free shipping). But ask yourself this: Is it really worth your hard-earned time and money, not to mention the possibility of getting your limbs torn apart by a demented mob of deal-seekers, just to save $100 on an iPod? We’re not anim—hey, do you think they’ll have cheap Mac minis? I’ll take a chainsaw to somebody for one of those, no problem.
MacUser is your source for news, info, and opinion about Apple, the Mac, and the iPod. Our dedicated team of bloggers covers everything that is relevant to Mac users — and, okay, some stuff that’s not quite relevant, but is still a lot of fun.
