Apple’s first China store is getting close to opening. But how close?
Well, yesterday, TradingMarkets.com reported that the new SanLiTun store would be operational on July 19, well before the Opening Ceremonies kick off on August 8.
However, days before, ChinaTechNews, citing a popular Chinese news portal, Sina.com, reports that it won’t be until August.
Beijing Apple fans, suss out the truth for us, will ya?
MacUser is your source for news, info, and opinion about Apple, the Mac, and the iPod. Our dedicated team of bloggers covers everything that is relevant to Mac users — and, okay, some stuff that’s not quite relevant, but is still a lot of fun.
If Apple is as superstitious as Chinese people are, then they would open their store in August.
I guess only readers who understands Chinese culture & beliefs will catch that one. :-)
I don't think it's much of a secret what the 8.8.08 Olympics ads.
