While good ol’ Stevie may not be ranked as one of the highest-valued CEOs (he’s only ranked at 36th) he certainly is ranked among the highest paid. Steven P. Jobs, believe it or not, is the highest paid Fortune 500 CEO. While his yearly salary is only $1, he has earned nearly $647 million in vested options, which puts him straight to the top. As MacSlash mentions, we still don’t know if Steve’s value figure includes the airplane he was given in 2001 and rents back to Apple.
