Steven P. Jobs might be number one in our hearts, but come on: we’re what people fondly term the “Apple faithful” (it is fond, right? They wouldn’t be mean to us people they hardly know, would they?). But what’s the perception of Steve-O outside of the vaunted technology industry?
Well, according to the folks at Corporate Leader magazine, El Jobs is also the the top CEO in the solar system. Or the world. Well, country. Señor Jobs came out tops in a poll of investors and finance pros, beating out such luminaries as buddy Eric Schmidt of Google, Lloyd Blankfein at Goldman Sachs, James McNerney of Boeing, and Frederick Smith of FedEx. Nice one, J-man! So, flesh this out a little—give us some sugar on Stevie:
“Jobs is a true visionary,” Robert Esecson, a senior managing director at investment bank Strategic Financial Group, told the magazine. “He consistently thinks outside the box and fosters creativity within the entire company.”That’s right, baby. We’re outside the box here. In fact, Vinnie Jobserino is so far out of the box that he can’t even see the box from where he is.
