Steve Jobs is our numero uno dreamboat, it’s true, but that doesn’t mean we can’t share him with others. El Jobserino has been named the tops in a list of twenty-five “powergeeks” in the music industry, compiled by Blender magazine, reflecting his role in the creation of the iTunes Store and the iPod.
Says Blender editor-in-chief Craig “Marky Mark” Marks:
The iTunes Store and the iPod have done more to change the way people listen to music than anything since the CD, and maybe since the sound recording,There you have it, folks. Steve Jobs is the most influential man in music since Thomas Alva Edison. And he didn’t even have to electrocute an elephant to get there.
Other members of the prestigious powergeek list include MySpace co-founders Tom Anderson and Chris DeWolfe, YouTube founders Chad Hurley and Steve Chen, and Universal Music CEO Doug “Kickback” Morris. None of whom, frankly, we wish to see in a Blender photoshoot.
