Link up with Steve Jobs

If you want to get your hands on an iPhone, one thing you might consider is getting in touch with Steve Jobs himself. The man’s been known to respond to emails from time to time, to help out customers in need. And now Dr. Macenstein, of the eponymous blog, points out a Steve Jobs profile on social networking site Linked In.

Steve claims to be interested in receiving:

• job inquiries
• expertise requests
• business deals
• reference requests
as well as just
• getting back in touch with lost colleagues.

This could be your ticket to landing the dream job of a lifetime!

Of course, as the good Doctor points out, the likelihood of this being the real Steve Jobs is pretty slim, despite the fact that he’s in the San Francisco Bay Area and in the “Computer Hardware” industry.

Then again, maybe it’s Fake Steve looking to do some networking in his post-Wired era. Unfortunately, he can only get you a Fake iPhone.
