The Apple Store: “We’ll be back soon.”

I was so certain this would happen today that I had this particular entry typed up and ready in advance.
It’s Tuesday and the Apple Online Store is (predictably) down again. I’m pretty sure it isn’t some scheduled maintenance thingy that no one gives a rat’s posterior about but let’s just wait and watch, shall we? Let us know what you think it might be for in the comments.
We’ll, of course, have an update for you as soon as it comes back up. Stay tuned.

Aperture 2 anyone?

Bah ... it's Aperture 2 ... Zzzzz (for me, at least)
I just looked at the store web site, and noticed that there is a new version of Aperture (Aperture 2), designed to run faster and play well in the RAW.
It could also be the update for the Apple TV is now available. When going into the AppleTV section, there was a link to get more information about the AppleTV and it said there will soon be downloadable version to update the device. It's no longer there.
