WWDC: It’s Official: Snow Leopard is actually real, not a figment of imagination

Posted by Dan Pourhadi | Monday, June 09, 2008 10:20 AM PT

snowleopardYes1.jpgLooks like all those speculative adverbs were unnecessary: Steve Jobs this morning confirmed that Mac OS X 10.6 will be named Snow Leopard-presumably suggesting that TUAW and Ars Technica were right on the money, and the next version of OS X will be more of a fixer-upper update than anything.

Jobs said Bertrand Serlet-Apple’s senior veep of software engineering-will be giving a demo of Snow Leopard “after lunch,” so we’ll provide you with more updates as they come.

(Be sure to check out Macworld’s live coverage of the WWDC keynote.)

You know what would have made this post perfect? A pic of the purple dragon from the Epcot ride... or am I the only one who remembers Figment?
