VMware beta for Mac OS X announced

VMware Server Rather than if, it’s always been a matter of when virtualization software maker VMware would bring their products to Mac OS X. Today, they’ve announced that it will become available soon. Even cooler, virtual machines created with it will work with VMware on other platforms and also vice versa. That’s cross platform compatibility.

You can pre-register for the beta. They’ll also be showing off what they have now at the Yerba Buena A Room at the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco 12:30 - 8:00 (after the keynote, natch). I’m crossing my fingers for the freeware VMware coming to the Mac.
