Transmit updated to 3.5

Transmit is becoming perhaps the most popular FTP client for Mac OS X, much like Fetch was for Mac OS 9. They’ve added a ton of new features in the just released 3.5 version. Naturally, it’s now a Universal Binary, but you also get a plethora of other features.

  • Edit any remote file in any application.
  • Improved synchronization.
  • Calculate folder sizes.
  • SOCKS proxy support (this must be useful to someone out there).
  • Create droplets from favorites.
  • Better get info.
  • Import, export and search favorites.
  • Improved column view, Growl, speed, etc.

All that in a free update, I’m loving those guys at Panic. It won’t be long before I break down and buy a license for Unison.
