Because I noticed a lot of notable software announcements today, I thought I’d roll them into a single post to make it easier.
Fission ($32) - The guys that make great software like Audio Hijack Pro and Sound Source are back with an audio editor with a neat twist. You can edit file’s losslessly. It doesn’t re-encode. It just moves the sound data around. Sweet.
shadowClipboard 3 ($15 single license; $30 group license) - This is a personal favorite. I love being able to maintain a history of recently copied/cut items. I wipe out the clipboard accidentally far too often. This protects me from myself and is now a Universal Binary. You can even share your clipboard over Rendezvous.
The Unarchiver (free) - A great free replacement for Apple’s BOMArchiveHelper.app and Allume’s Stuffit Expander. It has the advantage of supporting more formats than Apple’s supplied utility. You also don’t need to fool with supplying an email to Allume. Source code is even supplied.
