Last week Skype launched something called Skypecasts, which is a free service in which multiple Skype users come together and have a kind of conference call about a certain topic. Well, Mac users can now also get in on Skypecasts. To do so, just go to the Skypcasts directory and click on an ongoing Skypecast. Your web browser will then open up a pop-up window showing you who’s on the Skypecast, and call the host of the Skypecast in Skype. Note that you will need Skype 1.4 for Mac to participate in a Skypecast. Mac users can also create Skypecasts and host them through Skype and their web browser. Of course, Skypecasts is still in the preview stage and is not yet a full-fleged service.
