While last week’s Skype service downage affected everyone using the VoIP provider, some were hit more than others. These include those using the service for their full-time home or small office needs. So, to compensate, Skype has provided those users with a free week of service.
This little bit of re-payment from Skype comes in the form of a free, one-week extension of the service of Skype Pro, Skype Unlimited, SkypeIn, and Skype Voicemail subscribers. While this doesn’t excuse the loss of service, its is a nice gesture, especially for those who rely on Skype for heir day-to-day calling.
