As September approaches even though no one wants it to (back to school anyone?), it’s time to revisit a great Dashboard widget we covered ages ago. That’s because September also means the return of many TV shows, and what better way to track your favorites with TV Forecast, from Big Bucket?
If the name means nothing to you, TV Forecast is a simple but elegant widget that displays when the next episodes of chosen shows will air. It pulls shows, episodes names and airing times from TV.com and delivers the juiciness straight to your Dashboard — a dashboard which, for me at least, would feel like more of a trunk if this widget didn’t exist. Oh, and it’s free.
What’s really interesting if you enjoy TV Forecast as much as I do is that Matt Comi, the developer, is readying an iPhone/iPod touch version, set to hopefully hit the App Store in September (shown above). Until then, you can at least enjoy an iPhone web app here.
