Secure your Mac with Bluetooth proximity detection

BluetoothHave you ever thought about the possible ways your Bluetooth phone can simplify your life and make your Mac more secure? One inventive Mac user did and put together this page, complete with a free download of his resulting Apple Script.

His script performs some amazing and useful functions using Bluetooth proximity detection with your phone. Every time you leave your computer, a password protected screen saver will launch. Once you return to the computer, the screen saver is automatically disabled, Address Book is connected to OS X, and an iSync is performed. That’s got to be one of the coolest uses for a Bluetooth phone I’ve heard to date.
