If you’re into waking up to the sound of your music, or if you just like cool gadget-apps, then this is a post for you. Awaken is an app meant to be the center of your dreamworld. While your standard alarm clock requires setting and re-setting everyday, Awaken let’s you do it just once, utilizing iTunes as the audio source.
With Awaken, you can schedule alarms at specific times on specific days of the week. You can also put your music on a sleep timer to help lull you to sleep, or use the egg timer for a quick 30-minute power nap. Perhaps the coolest thing of all, though, is that Awaken can be controlled by the Apple Remote, which will even act as your snooze button.
Check out the two week free trial or $8.95 purchase price (hey, it’s still cheaper than your average alarm clock).
