Ever run into one of those sticky situations where your battery powered Mac keeps falling asleep (reading a PDF, giving a presentation, etc.)? Ever wish there was a way to stop your Mac from sleeping, without having to alter the power settings in System Preferences?
Your wishes are now the command of SleepLess, a small application which will prevent your Mac from going to sleep. It does this by updating the system activity timer once per X time interval, which means it will not change your system settings. This great functionality will unfortunately cost you some cash though. $9.50 for the full app, but if you’re a student you can get a 30% discount—a generous amount compared with most.
Update: As one user posted in the comments, Caffeine is a free little utility which does the same thing.
