mulogo1.jpgWe talked about the fake 20macapps.com bundle, and the new real MacHeist bundle, and now we’re gonna mention another new real bundle, this one from bundle-baron MacUpdate.

They’re calling it the “Parallels bundle” because it comes with — take a guess — Parallels (if unlocked)! There are ten apps altogether, some good, some so-so. MacRumors has the list:

  • DVDRemaster Pro - recompress large DVDs to fit on standard DVD5 disc, or for use on the iPod, iPhone, and Apple TV
  • StoryMill - creative writing tool to outline, write and publish a novel
  • Hazel - create rules to automatically sort and organize your files Art Text - create high quality headings, logos, banners, buttons
  • MenuCalendarClock - iCal compatible menu-bar calendar.
  • Leap - advanced file browsing and tagging
  • Typinator - type common phrases and pictures
  • Sound Studio* - record and edit audio
  • BannerZest* - create animated Flash banners
  • Parallels 3.0* - PC virtualization software for Intel Macs. Run Windows in Mac OS X.

The ones with the stars needs to be unlocked — the first, Sound Studio, will be unlocked when 5,000 bundles are sold. The sell-count as of this writing is only 823, but they’re moving fast.

The Parallels bundle will set you back $65, and the sale runs from April 16th - 29th. So get a’buyin’.

Wow, this is the best bundle I've seen BY FAR. I would do it if I had a intel mac in a heartbeat.

At least Macheist gives you a couple of programs you will actually use and like but this bundle which cost more only gives you one useful app: Parallels.

However in all fairness, it still is cheaper to get Parallels this way even if the other apps do collect dust on your hard drive.
