As promised in the keynote today, Mac OS X 10.4.4 update is ready for you in Software Update right now. Run, don’t walk, to your Apple menu and start downloading. You know you want to play with those updated Widgets.
I’ve already got my 12” Powerbook and Power Mac G4 upgraded with no ill effects. That’s no guarantee to be sure; I’m one of those freakish people that’s never had a problem with an update coming through Software Update. Other changes include improvments to Safari and iChat. Looking forward to this, I'll have to grab it on my iBook tonight. Wish I had a new macbook pro. ;-)
